High and Waisted in London

I had one afternoon with a few hours to kill and found my way to this park just outside of downtown London. I always try and wear transitional outfits that can move from a meeting, to an interview, to drinks and still look completely put together. That was my goal with this look because I had morning events and afternoon events, so I needed something chic but still versatile. These high waisted jeans from Topshop have become my absolute favorite pair of black denim, especially after having the ankle taken in. What are your favorite jeans that will be transitioning from your summer wardrobe to your fall style?

Convent Garden Market

I read before venturing out into London Ontario that this spot was a must visit, so I found my way to the Covent Garden Market and it lived up to the description! There was fresh fruit, great little restaurants, sweet treats, and my favorite, the Tea Haus! We had an excellent salad at The Salad Bowl, and then a Green Tea Chai shake from Taylor Sue’s Cups and Cones. As someone who loves tea, the Tea Haus was the real treat because of the many varieties and flavors and the fact that it was all natural ingredients! Even just wandering through the market was a great way to spend an hour, it’s small but packed with interesting treasures. What interesting markets, indoor or outdoor, have you visited?

Caught In The Act

The morning I was heading back to Nashville to finish working on my next single, I walked into the barn and caught London, my horse, having a little nap! He’s so sweet, whenever I catch him laying down he always lets me sit with him, which a lot of horse wouldn’t do. He also doesn’t lay down all that often, so it’s a special experience when he let’s me hangout with him when he’s so relaxed. I sure miss him when I’m down in Nashville, but I think he prefers the wide open fields of a farm!
