I was thinking over what I could share with you that would be inspiring (which I’m always trying to do). I realized I’ve never shared something that I spend a lot of time doing that you might find really valuable for your life as well…listening to a podcast! Well, podcasts actually.
I know, I know, everyone’s already listening to a podcast or two, but not everyone is listening to these ones. So I’m sharing with you a few of my favorites.
The Lively Show
I stumbled onto Jess Lively from a post on Pinterest when I was very first trying out podcasts. I tried out several, but her’s is one of the few that I’m still listening to. Her perspective is so energizing. She does a lot of research on her topics and she travels extensively. Mostly I find her podcasts totally rejuvenating and revitalizing. She’s fun and inspiring to listen to and encourages me to live the “high vibe” life.
The Tim Ferriss Show
Tim’s show is great for expanding your thinking. He’s well known in the technology and business sector for his “hacking” and for his book The Four Hour Work Week. Tim has new guests all the time and I love that because then I’m introduced to new leading edge material in biohacking, business, technology, and just generally optimizing every part of life.
The Tony Robbins Podcast
Everyone’s heard of Tony Robbins right? So I won’t tell you his story other than to say he’s very inspiring. That’s what I get most out of this podcast. It’s inspiring in a way that reminds me to think about dreams as goals. That anything is achievable and that it’s not about the struggle it’s about your perspective of it.
Magic Lessons with Elizabeth Gilbert
For full disclosure; this podcast isn’t in my weekly rotation, but when I need to be really inspired creatively it’s a great place to go. Liz Gilbert is the author of Eat, Pray, Love and Big Magic. Both books about how to transform your own perspective to change your life, so naturally her podcast is full of the same zest and passion.
Okay, I’m adding in a few more podcasts this year including Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations and Becoming Fearless by Annie Spano, and if I love them I’ll let you know. What are your favorite podcasts? I’m really interested to expand my podcast listening so share with me your favorites!
